  • 10 years minimum experience in general estimation Process
  • Required a bachelor’s degree in any engineering field.
  • Candidates applying must have knowledge of take-off, solicitation of cost of material, Equipment, Subcontractors, and general construction/contracting background.
  • experience in the oversight of the estimating process as well as overseeing standardized procedures, methods, and processes for estimating deliverables such as bid packages and budget tracking tools.
  • Able to manage quantity take-off, solicit estimation for general terms, and analyze plans, bills of quantities, and other project documentation in order to estimate costs. researching, sourcing, negotiating, and obtaining the best prices and quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Compile and organize process tender documents in full coordination with the company CEO and senior Management.
  • Assist in Developing the Estimation Department annual budget and ensure all employees are working towards the achievement of the Department’s goals and objectives within the assigned budget by setting the required targets and responsibilities upon employees.
  • Assist in Developing the Estimation Department’s guidelines, policies, and procedures and ensure its implementation while ensuring compliance with the strategic director.
  • Assist in managing with other concerned departments the pre-bid phase and hand out the awarded project to the Construction/Project Manager.
  • Ensure that all activities related to appraising the feasibility of the project cover Technical/ Engineering and Manpower, Material, Service & Equipment plans.
  • Review and approve the project budget after incorporating the project profit margin with the project cost.
  • Coordinate with the management and the Estimators to decide on the following:
  • Project estimated cost, Project profit margin, and Project overall budget.
  • Oversee the preparation of proposals after the estimation budget.
  • Review and approve the quantities of materials to ensure that the quantities needed are correct and sufficient for the completion of the project.
  • Ensure that all drawings written in RFP’s s are correct. Review design scope criteria and quantities for completeness and coordinates reasonably with the project to develop additional estimating bases when information is incomplete.
  • Oversee the measurement of quantities from drawings, sketches, and specifications listed in the Tender / RFP documents for the preparation and pricing of the BOQ.
  • Provide advice, guidance, direction, and authorization to department personnel to carry out major plans and procedures, consistent with established policies.
  • Excellent knowledge of computers excel, and Microsoft systems.
  • Handling accounts independently
  • Managing & recording day-to-day financial transactions
  • Processing local and overseas payments
  • Preparing periodical financial statements
  • Experience in submitting periodical VAT returns.
  • Experience in assisting auditors in finalizing year-end audit reports.
  • Experience in assisting with annual tax/zakat returns.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Saudi
  • Knowledge of tally prime accounting software
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Word.
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Communication in Arabic will be a plus point.
  • Preferred experience in construction company accounting
  • Must have SOCPA registration.
  • Qualification: Graduation/Post Graduation
